Conditions for Concession of Development Scheup.c?

(REG! DEC 13, The right to build a tramway and light railway, free land for same being granted, shall be subject to the following conditions:-

(a). The Concessionaires to defray the cost of remmming any land already leased which may be required in connection with the construction of the tramway or light railway.

1 (b). In the event of lines interfering with the use of any existin public road or path by ordinary traffic the Concessionaires t carry out at their own expense such widening, diversion or other alteration as the Director of Public Works may require. (c). In the event of the lines interfering with existing water

courses the Concessionaires to carry out at their own expense. such diversion or other alteration as the Director of Public-

Works may require.

(d). The route and all matters of construction etc., to be subj

to the approval of the Director of Public Works.

(e). In the event of any portion of the tramways being laid on e

public road, which in the opinion of the Director of Public

Works, is of insufficient width to admit of a vehicle, such

as a motor car, passing a tramway car in safety, the Con- -cessionaires must construct such passing places by widening

such road at such points and to such extent as the Director

of Public Works may require.

Construction of the tramway and light railway main route between

the North and South sides of the Island to be commenced within a period

twelve montas, and completed within a period of three years, from

date of coming into operation of the necessary Ordinance.
